HXG - Hardcore Gunplay

HXG (or Hardcore Gunplay) is a semi-realistic firearm-based combat system for use with tabletop roleplaying games, designed to balance simulation-ism with minimizing crunch. It condenses a process involving weapon accuracy, distance, target cover, target movement, full auto, target armor and more into a system that takes only a few minutes to resolve an encounter once players learn its procedure.

HXG can currently be downloaded as a 5-page, A4, Black & White, printer-friendly, donationware PDF. Dyslexic-friendly and form-fillable versions are available. The game's contents include:

1. A 'cheat sheet' that condenses the combat gameplay procedure into 12 quick calculations (many of which only need to be done once per encounter)
2. Two pages of more detailed explanation of calculations
3. A 1-page play example
4. Two small tables of example weapons
