24XXpanded - Generic-brand Lofi RPG

24XXpanded is a generic hack of Jason Tocci's 24XX “lofi sci-fi” System Reference Document. It removes most of the SRD's explicitly science fiction elements, and adds setting-agnostic content to create a system that can be used to roleplay in most settings. A more detailed 'change log' can be found below, in the document itself, and in a separate text file.

• 3 and 4 have changed from ‘setback’ to ‘slight failure’ and ‘slight success’ respectively
• New ‘critical success’ result for 10+ rolls
• Extra dice from advantaged rolls are now d4s whose size can be upgraded by using – or 'stacking' - extra advantages
• Disadvantaged rolls now use 1d5. Extra stacked disadvantages add 1d5 to the roll. Take the lowest single value.
• Advantages and disadvantages cancel each other out
• Reduced range of credits earned after each job
• New section for establishing setting fundamentals
• Revamped skill and trait lists
• Revamped skill and trait acquisition
• Increasing certain skills can upgrade capacity rather than die size.
• Generic-ized armor
• Alternate wording
• Alternate content order
• Removed rules for vehicles and jobs

24XXpanded can currently be downloaded as a 4-page, color, donationware PDF. A printer-friendly version is available.
